Victim was shot multiple times with a .22 caliber rifle by Barajas and GallardoOctober 2, 2010 CALIFORNIA FUGITIVE NEWS -- Manteca Police are searching for two vicious killers, Gilberto Barajas and Enrique Gallardo. Both fugitives are most wanted by Manteca Police for the brutal murder of 21-year-old Frank Alvarado in Manteca, California. The men are to be considered armed and dangerous. Frank Alvarado residence was located directly next to the Quick Stop located at Alameda and Main St. On April 10, 2002, at approximately 10:15 p.m., while walking to the store, Frank Alvarado entered a verbal altercation with Barajas and Gallardo. The argument appeared over and Alvarado proceeded into the Quick Stop. However, upon his return, Alvarado was shot multiple times with a .22 caliber rifle by Barajas and Gallardo. Seriously wounded, Alvarado survived the attack for several days before succumbing to the wounds inflicted by his assailants. Additional police investigation has determined that both Gilberto Barajas and Enrique Gallardo are both associated with documented gang members residing in San Joaquin County. Meanwhile, the vehicle used to flee the shooting was discovered abandoned in Los Angles with evidence confirming that Barajas and Gallardo were the homicide suspects.
