Killer Kang

HOUSTON TX FUGITIVE NEWS -- A fugitive murderer, Xiaokang Zhao, a.k.a. Victor Zhao, or "Kang Kang" is most wanted for shooting two persons in Houston, Texas. Zhao, wounded his first victim, but unfortunately succeeded in killing the second. Charged with murder on August 18, 2009, in Harris County 183rd State District Court, Zhao is to be considered armed and dangerous.

On August 17, 2009, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Xiaokang Zhao shot his two victims, 21-year-old Miao Feng and her 28-year-old boyfriend in front of a Houston karaoke bar on Wilcrest Dr. The male victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital and recovered. Regretfully, Miao Feng, died at the crime scene from the wounds inflicted by Zhao.

Houston Police Homicide Division Sergeants, J.H. Roberts and B.C. Williams released the following statement concerning the murder:

The male victim was leaving the Love of 1970 Cafe with the female victim, Ms. Feng, when he got into an argument with the suspect, Zhao, at the entrance of the cafe. Zhao shot the male victim twice, who then fell to the ground. Ms. Feng knelt down to give the victim aid and was also shot twice by Zhao. Ms. Feng was pronounced dead at the scene and the male victim was transported to the hospital where he is expected to recover from his wounds.
