Argument witnessed by more than twenty individuals outside Bar turns deadly.October 9, 2010 EL PASO TX FUGITIVE NEWS -- California born Ricardo Zuniga is most wanted for a double homicide committed outside the A&M Bar located at 11638 Alameda Ave in Socorro, Texas. Zuniga has been identified as the triggerman in a June 2009, shooting that resulted from an argument witnessed by more than twenty individuals.
On June 22, 2009 at approximately 2:00 a.m., El Paso Sheriff's Deputies with officers from the Socorro police responded to the A&M Bar to find two brothers, a 37-year-old Jose Vargas and 46-year-old Jesus Vargas Jr., shot lying on the ground in the parking lot. Both victims were shot once each, and Jose Vargas died at the scene while Jesus Vargas Jr., died later at the hospital. After the murder, Ricardo Zuniga fled the scene and remains a fugitive at large. Since the shooting, two additional suspects, Victor Ignacio Gomez and Jose Guadalupe Cordero, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the double homicide. Both men were charged with Capital Murder. Ricardo Zuniga is also known as Arturo Hernandez-Vargas, and is aware that he is a wanted fugitive. Zuniga has known contacts in Fabens, San Elizario, Socorro and El Paso. He has several tattoos, "Mi Madre Lucia" on his chest, and "ENANO" inked on his back. Zuniga further described as:
