Arteaga-Lomeli On December 28, 2008 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Eder Arteaga-Lomeli allegedly fatally shot 31-year-old Timothy Potts and wounded 26-year-old Mario I. Beltran-Rodriguez. A third person in the company of Potts, was his cousin, David L. Wagner. This man ran from the scene and was eventually arrested several days later after a highspeed chase. The shooting took place at the Citadel Apartment complex located in a high crime area of Omaha. It is believed Potts along with Wagner, went to the Citadel Apartment complex in order to retrieve a television from another individual. While at the apartment complex, Arteaga-Lomeli shot the two men. After the shooting, Potts, was rushed to the Nebraska Medical Center where he later died of the gunshot wound inflicted by Arteaga-Lomeli. Meantime, Beltran-Rodriguez was transported by a private vehicle to Bergen Mercy Hospital where he was treated and eventually recovered from his injuries. Eder Arteaga-Lomeli is described as:
