Person of interest in Two Bridges neighborhood killing

NEW YORK FUGITIVE NEWS -- NYC Police are seeking Pierre Hecker, a person of interest in the fatally shooting 28-year-old Anthony Evans in front of the Alfred E. Smith Houses in lower Manhattan on September 1, 2010, at approximately 2:53 a.m.
Officers from the 5th precinct responded to a report of shooting in the courtyard of the Alfred E. Smith Houses on 46 Madison Street. Upon arrival Officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshots near the playground. Anthony Evans had been shot in his head, arm, and torso. An Emergency Medical Services team attempted to save Evans, but unfortunately the man died in transport to New York Downtown Hospital. Motive for the shooting has not been released.
Purportedly, the gunman was last seen fleeing south near 388 Pearl Street. Additionally, Alfred E. Smith Houses are public housing complex located in the Two Bridges neighborhood in the Lower East Side. Two Bridges neighborhood is part East River waterfront area between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Pierre Hecker Bridge.

Lastly, Police are asking the public for information on the location of Pierre Hecker, a resident of 1295 Fifth Avenue in Schomburg Plaza on 110th Street. A residence located in Harlem near the Harlem Meer in Central Park.
