VO Quan VO's victim, Lam Mai Ho of Aberdeen, Maryland was stationed at McGuire Air Force Base in southern New Jersey and was just a week away from an Operation Iraqi Freedom deployment to Iraq. According to Police, the two men were involved in a fight at the Ledo By Night Club on the 1700 block of Adams Avenue. Purportedly, the fight started inside the bar when someone was overheard making a remark about Ho's pregnant wife. Eventually, the fight spilled outside into the street, where Ho was stabbed by Vo. Additionally, a friend of Ho's, Tony Tran of Ewing, New Jersey, was also seriously injury in the fight when he was stabbed in the abdomen. Quan D VO is described as:
