Ramon Virola killed Christopher Nelson while robbing his castleRI FUGITIVE NEWS -- Ramon Virola is most wanted for murder and other felony crimes by the Rhode Island State Police and is to be considered armed and dangerous.
According to police, on August 16, 2004, in Providence, Rhode Island, Ramon Virola and three other men burst into the apartment of a Johnson & Wales graduate, Christopher Nelson, demanding money. Nelson attempted to wrestle a gun away from Virola, but instead was shot in the chest. Left for dead, Nelson managed to survive until he reached Hospital. On December 10, 2004, Virola was indicted along with his three accomplices by a Providence County grand jury for the murder, assault, assault with intent to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and discharging a firearm while committing a violent crime resulting in death of Christopher Nelson, of Brooklyn, New York. Of the four accused men, Lazaro Martinez, Wayman Kevin Turner, Ramon Virola, and Martin White, only Virola remains at-large. Nonetheless, Virola should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
