Most Wanted Hampton Fugitive

Killer shot his victim and then left him suffering to die alone.

HAMPTON VA FUGITIVE NEWS -- A known felon, Dequan Maurice Estelle, is most wanted for murder by Hampton, Virginia police. Estelle should be considered armed and dangerous. Criminal warrants issued for Estelle's arrest include:

• Murder.
• Use of a firearm while in the commission of a Felony.
• Possession of a firearm by a felon.

Fugitive Dequan Maurice Estelle

On July 16, 2010, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Hampton Police responded to the scene of a shooting outside of an Apartment building in the 100 block of North Lincoln Street in Hampton, Virginia. The victim, 20-year-old Wynton Antonio Thomas was still alive at the scene, and was then transported by ambulance to the nearest Hospital where he later died. Additionally, Thomas was a resident of Hampton who lived several miles from the crime scene. Therefore, it is unknown if the two men were acquainted.
