Murderer's family disappeared in fear of retribution after killingMay 9, 2010 BROWARD COUNTY FL FUGITIVE NEWS -- Richardo "Ricardo" Arzate is sought by Broward County Sheriff's Office for the killing of Fernando Baldovinos during a birthday party in Pompano Beach, Florida. Additionally, Broward County Sheriff's Investigators are searching for Arzate's mother, his two brothers, and their families. Apparently, their disappearance occurred after police interviews. Moreover, family members stated during their interviews that they feared retribution for Ricardo Arzate's crime from the victim's associates.
On April 15, 1996, during a birthday celebration, at 2680 NW 11th Street several arguments escalated into fights. One of these fights was between Arzate and Baldovinos. During the fight, Arzate allegedly drew a gun and shot Baldovinos in the head and abdomen. After the killing, Richardo Arzate was charged with 1st Degree Murder and Attempted Murder. His last known address was 2756 NW Fifth Street, Pompano Beach, Florida. Arzate is described as having a large tattoo of the Virgin Mary on his right pectoral. He is further described as:
