Davontay Darrell Henson robbed his victims before deciding to kill them.November 6, 2010 SC FUGITIVE NEWS -- A reward of up to $1,000, was offered for information leading to the arrest of Davontay Darrell Henson, a suspected fugitive murderer. Henson was arrested by police in Maryland almost one year after being identifed as the shooter in a Rock Hill robbery. Henson is suspected of committing a felony homicide during the robbery, and was most wanted by police in South Carolina.
Rock Hill Police have asserted that on October 01, 2009, Henson and another female suspect (already apprehended), approached several people standing on a front porch of a Byars Street residence. With a rifle in hand, Henson robbed the group of individuals at gunpoint. After relieving the victims of their possessions, Henson, began to leave the scene. However, Henderson decisively turned back and shot two of the persons standing on the porch. One of the victims was wounded and survived, while the other victim unfortunately died. Davontay Darrell Henson was eventually charged with murder on December 09, 2009. Henson's last known address was at a residence on Flint Street in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Henson has been returned to Rock Hill, and remains in custody. |
