Moreno and his accomplices killed for 20 pounds of tumbleweedAugust 3, 2010 TUSON AZ NEWS -- Victor Moreno has been arrested. He was most wanted for his involvement in the murder of a 20-year-old Tucson, Arizona man during a drug deal. Moreno and two other individuals arranged a deal to buy 20 pounds of tumbleweed. However, during the purchase on January, 21, 2008, the dealer, Oscar Adrian Herrera was killed while another man was pistol-whipped.
Afterward, both Moreno's accomplices, Andrew Johannes Rodriguez and Taylor Mitchell Robbins were captured, prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced for the Herrera murder. Rodriguez is serving 29 years in prison while Robbins is serving 11 1/2 years in prison. |
