The victim was found with severe injuries a block away from a reported fight at the corner Maywood Street.February 12, 2010 CALIFORNIA FUGITIVE NEWS -- Alexander Rodolfo Salazar is most wanted for the killing of a teenager in Escondido, California on the night of April 10, 2008. Salazar a.k.a. "PIOJO," is a known Diablos gang member being sought by Escondido Police Department for stabbing the 17-year-old Gerardo Daniel Medina, a student at Valley High School who was also employed at the gift store in the San Diego Wild Animal Park. On the night of the murder, Escondido Police responded within three minutes to reports of four people fighting at the intersection of Mission and Midway. However, Officers found the teenager with severe injuries a block away, lying on the ground at the corner Maywood Street, approximately three blocks from his home. When the Escondido Fire Paramedics arrived, Medina was pronounced dead at the scene, after dying from the wounds that were allegedly inflicted by Alexander Salazar during the fight.
