"Pelon" is most wanted for first-degree felony murder by Salt Lake City Police, after Tenangueno stabbed a man in the chest resulting in his death on November 30, 2008. Snow Queen Place around 12:55 a.m., Officers found 25-year-old Matthew Spero Maxwell stabbed, bleeding in the apartment’s stairwell. A witness attested that while at a party an argument broke out between the two men, and he saw Tenangueno stab Maxwell in the chest with a knife. Maxwell was transported to Intermountain Medical Center, where he died at 1:56 a.m., a subsequent autopsy confirmed that the stab wound inflicted by Tenangueno had punctured Maxwell's heart inevitably causing his death.
